What is Hypnosis?

The hypnosis is a state that is manifested physically and psychically. The hypnosis looks like a dream, but it is not a dream. The consumption of oxygen under hypnosis remains the same as of one, who is awake. EEG – the brain waves of a hypnotized person are the same as of one, who is awake. One, who is hypnotized, for example, is aware of the presence of other people and everything that happens during hypnosis. During hypnosis, it is worked more actively with the subconsciousness of the one, who is hypnotized so that to be more open for positive change of the thoughts, feelings and the whole attitude to life.

Legally hypnosis may be practiced by a hypnotherapist. It is better he or she to be a member of the Bulgarian Association for Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy – BAHH, which is the only organization that legally lead such trainings in Bulgaria. Hypnotherapists may be only persons with psychological or medical education.

During hypnosis, control over the mind, behavior or activities is not lost. You may be hypnotized only if you want. Otherwise there is no way in which that can happen.
